Omari McQueen

Omari McQueen is on a mission to transform the way we think about food.

At 12, Omari McQueen was considered to be the youngest award-winning vegan chef in the country. Still only 15, he is also one of the youngest restaurateurs in the world, after running a successful pop up at Croydon’s Box Park. He is the star of CBBC’s ‘What’s Cooking, Omari?"‘ and has authored two best-selling vegan cookbooks. He has also partnered with brands like Meatless Farm, ASDA and Morrisons to help drive their vegan initiatives. He was recently awarded the prestigious ‘Compassionate Kid Award’ by PETA, and continues to be recognised for his work on a global basis.

Omari’s third book, Fantastic Families, published with Scholastic in 2023.
