Ellie Austin-Williams

Bored of the same old financial information written by middle-aged men, Ellie founded This Girl Talks Money to tackle the last taboo: money. Working as a graduate in the city, Ellie became disillusioned with the lack of accessible and up-to-date financial education content aimed at women in their twenties and thirties. To solve the problem, Ellie started sharing her learnings about money and financial wellbeing online and soon found that thousands of others wanted to join the conversation.

Ellie is also the co-host of lifestyle podcast ‘Money Unfiltered’, a show asking the questions about money that everyone thinks about but that no one dares to ask. Ellie has been a guest on panel talks about financial wellbeing for Glamour, Allbright and Laybuy, and featured as a financial expert for a range of publications including Stylist, Refinery29, Vice, Evening Standard and worked with brands including eBay, Tesco Mobile and American Express.
